1955 BMW 502 "Baroque Angel"


 Motoring experts heaped a lot of praise on both the 501 and 502. The 501 was introduced in 1951 and was powered by a 6 cylinder engine producing 65 horsepower that was increased three years later to 72 horsepower. The 502 came about in 1955 and was fitted with a V8 engine making 160 horsepower. Few of the 502 models were produced. Production of the series ended in 1963 after approximately 22,000 units had been made.
