This modified EcoSport recently sold on Bring a Trailer for $10,666.I don't know anything about Ford EcoSport vehicles, but if someone was looking for a "Hey, look at me" ride it would fill the bill. Read more about it at Bring a Trailer.

Motor Scout

British inventor Fredrick Richard Simms designed and built the Motor Scout in 1899. It was the first armed petrol powered vehicle. The engine produced 1.5hp and was chain driven to the rear wheels. It had a range of 120 miles on standard tanks.

Fulton Airphibian

The Airphibian was designed by Rober Edison Fulton Jr. in 1946. It was powered by a 165 hp six cylinder engine capable of 45mph on the road and 120mph in flight. It's airworthyness was certified in December 1950. After landing and before driving the sections were separated and the three bladed propeller was placed on the side of the fuselage. Support casters cranked down to support the fuselage section. The conversion was completed in seven minutes. Four prototypes were made and tested over 200,000 ground miles and 6000 conversion cycles. The high cost of production and certifications caused Fulton to sell his company before commercial manufacturing got underway.

The Goliath was produced from 1949 until 1955 in Bremen, Germany. Total production exceeded 30,000. It was powered by a two stroke engine displacing 396cc. This example was photographed in Uruguay. displaying great patina. They were offered in various configurations but this crew cab pickup setup works for me.

1950 Ford Anglia Ute

The 1950 Ford Anglia Ute (coupe utility) is quite rare. Most were manufactured and sold by Ford Australia. Utes satisfied the demand for car based work vehicles in Australia.

1988 GMC Centaur

Introduced at the 1988 Detroit Auto Show the Centaur was an unusual vehicle. It was powered by an 

in-line six cylinder 3.0 liter engine and had a six speed automatic transmission. It was all wheel drive and had all wheel steering. It had a 2000 pound payload capacity and a towing capacity of 5000 pounds.

1983 Volkswagen Gulf Turbo

 

Sbarro is a small Swiss concept and replica company. This Volkswagen was refitted with a Porsche  911 turbo engine after removing the rear seats. In order to have increased unobstructed access to the powertrain they installed a hydraulic system to lift the rear of the car to clear the subframe.
