1966 Goggomobil Dart

This racer started life as a Goggomobil Dart but was transformed into the Gamma Special.

The car retained its original chassis and fibreglass body, but received a supercharged VW flat four 1600cc engine.  It was equipped with a four speed manual transmission. It crashed in 1968 but was destined to be restored.  It was finished in 2008. The engine was refreshed and methanol injection was added.  It produces 190hp and makes sub 7 second  1/8th mile runs.
