In the late 60's Volvo wanted to freshen the appeal for their P1800 and thought a shooting brake would serve that purpose. They talked to several studios and the 1800ES Rocket was produced by Carrozzeria Frua. Coggiola came up with the P1800ES Beach Car. Read a bit more about the Rocket here, and the Beach Car here.
