These twenty Chinese children from Gengguan walk to school with an adult escort. The narrow path they walk was carved from the cliffs 40 years ago. It is the only way from their village to the Banpo Primary School in Guizhou Province. They join about fifty other children for day before being escorted home at the close of school.
