Old timer

100 years ago a journalist named John Bolster along with his brother scavenged enough parts to built "Bloody Mary". It was chain driven. Originally set up with two JAP motorcycle engines it was later converted to a Harley V-twin. The original parts accumulation was at a cost of 25 pounds sterling. The car survives to this day.

  1. Go over to Oak Swamp channel on Youtube and check out his latest build. A highly modified 1930s Austin big seven chasis, with a hot rod Crosely engine, chain drive rat racer.
