1937 Airomobile Sedan C

The Airomobile was powered by an air cooled engine developed by two engineers formerly associated with the Franklin Automobile Company.  Paul Lewis of Denver, Colorado conceived the futuristic design in the early 1930's.  The front wheel drive vehicle went on a promotional 45,000 mile tour in 1937.  The car was a technical success.  It achieved 80 mph and got 43 mpg but failed to gain the financial support needed to go into production.
