1965 Mustang concept wagon

Shortly after the Ford Mustang was introduced three guys decided that the car should be available in a two door wagon version. They packed up a new Mustang coupe and shipped it to Construzione Automobili Intermeccanica in Turin, Italy. They worked their magic on the car and shipped it back to the US. Ford saw the car and rejected the idea because apparently their design department had already explored that possibility. Apparently the Intermeccanica wagon vanished but several knockoffs have been made. Motor Trend ran a story on the Mustang wagon in 2016 and you can read it here.

1955 Autobleu 4CV

Autobleu was a supplier of performance intake and exhaust manifolds that were popular for use on the Renault 4CV and Dauphine. They decided to produce their own automobile based on the 4CV. Only 80 examples were produced and as few as 10 remain today. The car was not very successful based partly on the fact that it cost two and a half times the cost of a fully optioned 4CV at the time.
