Hubert Van Doorn (founder of the DAF car company) created this car in 1941-2. He thought it had potential because it was only 80cm wide which meant it would fit through most doorways and could be stored in the hallway. It never went into production and in 1947 he gave it to a circus where it was used by two clowns in their performances. It was later returned to the company and it was placed in their museum.
