1955 Cadillac Viewmaster

Production #1 of only 7 built. These seven vehicles were the only Cadillac wagons to be sanctioned/supported/approved by Cadillac Motors Division.

The Hess-Eisenhardt Co. of Cincinnati built these vehicles and have done many of the presidential limousines. These wagons sold for $10,000 and up. This one sold for approximately $13,000 through Eberts Cadillac in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The high cost killed the project for Cadillac but Hess-Eisenhardt carried on with an independent project that produced 12 cars in 1956 and several more in the following years. Most had three seats and apparently all except this one were built as "woodies".
