In 1959 there was an accident in Winganon, Oklahoma, that involved a concrete truck. The truck was removed, but the "mixer" was full of concrete and was left at the side of the road. Since then it has been the target of numerous people armed with paint. In 2011 a couple painted the mixer to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary, and it apparently has held up quite well.
