My suggestion on the best time to visit Gatlinburg? 3:00AM on a June morning. Cooler temperatures and no maddening crush of people actually make it rather pleasant.
After a sally of equipment and work in the darkness the morning light revealed that LifeFormations had added an attention grabbing dinosaur to the facade of Ripley's Moving Theater located on the Parkway in beautiful downtown Gatlinburg.
