1946 Larmar

 

The Larmar was produced in England from 1946 to 1951.  It was initially powered by a 250cc BSA engine before switching to another BSA engine of 350cc. It was a single seater invalid car capable of 35mph. It was only 28 1/2" which enabled it to fit through doorways.

Found on the Titanic


They recently did a full scale scan of what is left of the Titanic. One of the photographs revealed a necklace made from a megalodon tooth found in the wreckage. Read the story here.

I was disappointed that they failed to point out the very early prototype maquette of the Big Bird character resting near it
