Another one that got away...
I purchased this Mustang for $2400 from the older friend of a co-worker in about 1975. It had 15,000 miles on it at the time and was in pristine condition. It was a 289 with an automatic transmission. I didn't have a garage at the time so I rented space to keep it in. I sold it about a year later as I was staging up to build our house.
A few years ago I got a phone call from a person who had tracked me down and wanted to know what I could tell him about the car. Evidently at that time it was for sale at the Fall Hershey Swap Meet. There were only a few thousand more miles on it at time. I don't remember what the asking price was but it was in the mid $20K.
