Renault 10
It looks like a lonely existence for this Renault 10. I'm guessing it is from the 60's or early 70's.

Raymond Loewy's personal 1957 BMW 507
Loewy was born in France but did most of his designing in the United States. He did extensive reworking of the BMW 507 in a one off personal car. Read more about his relationship with the 507 here. The site includes several other cars that Loewy "redesigned" for his own use.
When I look at the 507 as offered from BMW I believe I prefer it to Loewy's.

1959 Mercedes 219
I purchased this Mercedes in about 1976. It was original and had been sitting in a garage for a number of years. The engine was stuck. I removed the head and oil pan and drove the pistons out. New rings and honing the bores enabled getting it running. I painted it and then drove it for awhile. No storage space prompted me to sell the car at a Kruse Auto auction in Cincinnati. I wish I could have hung on to it.

Vince Gardner's 1947 Studebaker
Vince bought this new Studebaker in 1947. He took it home and immediately began building his speedster. When he was done he took it to the Oakland Roadster Show and won the "Most Magnificent Custom Roadster" award. See additional photos here.
