1969 Ford Aurora II

The Aurora I was introduced at the 1964 World's Fair while the Aurora II concept wagon came along in 1969.  Jalopnik had a post in 2014 referencing the Auroras.  Read that at

I came across this vehicle in London over 40 years ago.  When I asked someone about it they referred to it as an "invalid car".  It would have made the task of maneuvering around London easier for anybody.

I am partial to odd cars.  I am particularly fond of original cars that are actually driven and enjoyed.  That being said it is easy to see why I was happy to come across this couple who were enjoying their Hotshot on a beautiful summer day in Ohio.

The Crosley's were produced in Cincinnati.  They were involved in an array of products as well as establishing WLW radio broadcasting.  Wikipedia has an interesting read on Crosley.

Beetle lift
