When I came across this image of a Volvo project I had no idea of what that engine was.  Recently I came across a post on Barn Finds that listed V12 Chinese tank engines for sale.  That post included a photo of this Volvo.  You can find the engine information here.

In July, 2020, production of the Laikipia began in Nyahururu, Kenya.  The cars were not warmly received and only a few cars were sold for use as taxis.  Additional information including some production photos is available at smallcarsclub.com.

1957 Metropolitan

This 1957 Metropolitan was altered to be a conveyance for guests at the Catskill Game Farm in New York.  Passengers were moved throughout the farm to view and pet the animals.  It has been restored and the driveline was updated.  The engine is an 1800cc engine from an MGB and the transmission is a Borg Warner T35.

This image looks like a still frame from a science fiction movie.  It is, in fact, a bat nursery.  I came across this at TYWKIWDBI - a blog I enjoy because of its diverse content and a goodly amount of interaction with its readers via comments.
