Murray General

Dan Hryhorcoff is a semi-retired engineer and machine shop owner who needed a project.  He decided to build a car (he had already built a submarine).  His upscale "pedal car" is operational and registered in Pennsylvania.  It is on display at the AACA Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania through January 3, 2016.

Out of this world art

Lee Downey carved this life sized skull from a 615 pound meteorite.  Scientists say it is part of a planet that orbited between Mars and Jupiter.  When that planet broke apart it flew through space for four billion years.  A thousand years ago it entered the earth's atmosphere and landed in Namibia's Kalahari Desert.  It will be auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles on November 24.

Additional information is here.
