On January 12, 2015 I posted a different photograph taken from an angle that displayed the rear of this vehicle and the fire equipment it contained.  At that point I did not know the year or make.  What an amazing grill!

Elvis 1977

I ran across this video of Elvis in concert near the end of his life.  His stage presence was in shambles but his pipes were still strong.  I think it is a sad video.  At the very end of the video the audio does not sync up with Elvis's mouth movements.  It would appear that perhaps someone tried to do the King a favor by dubbing in a better finish than was presented live that night....

This was Rapid City, South Dakota on June 21, 1977.  He gave his last performance five days later. 

"His body was falling apart, but his voice remained almost as powerful as ever.  Without any doubt, it's the last great moment of his career", said Rolling Stone Magazine.

Elvis died August 16, 1977.

Calbuco

Calbuco is located in Southern Chile.  On April 22, 2015 it erupted for the first time in forty years.

1962 Trivan

The Trivan was made in Frackville, PA.  The three wheel van came powered by either a 32hp Kohler air cooled twin or a 30hp air cooled 2 cycle twin diesel.  It was driven by the single rear wheel.  It had a fiberglass body on a heavy duty steel tube chassis with airbag suspension.  A total of 112 vehicles were made by the time production ended in 1964.
